David Belmar

David Belmar has over 25 years of work experience in the media and content industry. David began their career in 1992 as the COO and CEO (i) of TVN (Televisión Nacional de Chile). In 2010, they became the Executive Director and CEO of Canal 13 S.A., where they achieved the goal of bringing the company from fourth to first place in terms of audience share and sales. During this time, they also led the editorial and business project of the channel, promoting the generation of a diverse range of content and formats that captured the majority of the audience.

In 2014, David Belmar became a Partner and Director of TVO Holdings S.A., an advisory and investment company in media and marketing, under which a series of companies have been created to capture the opportunities arising from the current transformation of the media and content industry in Chile and Latin America. In 2016, they were appointed President of 1190 Sports. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and Vice President of Fanatiz.

David Belmar attended IESE Business School from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a Graduado Programa en Alta Dirección de Empresas in Alta Dirección de Empresas PADE 2010. David also holds an Administrador Público degree from Universidad de Chile.
