Markus Coetsee

Markus Coetsee started their work experience in 2003 as a Civil Trainee at Power Construction (Pty) Ltd. Markus then worked at SAND Group of Companies from 2007 to 2012, first as a Financial Assistant and later as a Financial Controller. In 2011, they joined Liquid Edge Solutions as a Financial Manager. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Fancam, initially as a Financial Controller & Key Accounts and later as a CFO. In 2021, they started working at CrowdIQ as a CFO. Markus also currently serves as an Advisor/Judge at Stadia Ventures.

Markus Coetsee completed their Bachelor of Accounting (B.Acc) degree in Accounting and Finance at Stellenbosch University from 2004 to 2007. Markus then pursued further education at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2009 to 2014, earning an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Markus Coetsee obtained certifications in "Building Resilience" from LinkedIn in December 2020 and "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making" from LinkedIn in July 2020.
