Emily Takemori has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Emily started their career in 1998 as an Assistant Editor/Production Coordinator at Coors Brewing Company. Emily then worked as a TV Commercial Production Coordinator at Tool of North America from 2001 to 2005. Emily served as the Creative Services Manager at G4 TV in 2005. Emily briefly worked as a Senior Account Executive at DNA Studio in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they held the roles of Sr. Creative Producer and Manager, Creative Services at Myspace, where they managed web production resources and developed custom advertising campaigns. Emily then joined BUZZMEDIA as the Sr. Director of Ad Product Operations from 2009 to 2013. At Whalerock Industries, they served as the Product Development Lead for Wonderwall.com, Mom.me, and Purpleclover.com from 2013 to 2017. Currently, Emily is the Director of Project Management/Operations and Senior Program Manager at Fandango, where they collaborate with various departments to drive projects and focus on video distribution, ad strategy, and partnerships for the Rotten Tomatoes brand.

Emily Takemori earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they attended from 1994 to 1998. In 1998, they also attended the Film Editing School to further specialize in Film Editing. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional from the Scrum Alliance in 2018.
