Joyce Lin

Joyce Lin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joyce started their career as a Walt Disney World College Program Intern, where they gained experience in sales, inventory control, and customer service. Joyce then worked as a GIS Intern for the City of Dallas before joining LECG, LLC as a GIS Analyst.

In 2007, Joyce transitioned to Pioneer Natural Resources Company, where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Engineering Analyst, they directed and oversaw various data analysis and data management projects. Joyce contributed to projects such as quarterly reserve technical audit and year-end SEC reporting.

At Pioneer Natural Resources Company, Joyce also served as an IT Application Analyst. In this role, they managed scientific software suites and supported geospatial software for optimizing server and database network performance. Joyce also created interactive map templates and delivered presentations to potential consumers.

Afterward, Joyce joined mPulse Mobile as a Data Engineer and later worked at goop.com as a Senior Data Engineer. Joyce then moved to Tala, where they continued to work as a Senior Data Engineer until joining Fanfix as a Senior Data Engineer in 2023.

Throughout their career, Joyce has showcased their expertise in data engineering and management, making significant contributions to various organizations.

Joyce Lin has a diverse education history. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography & Journalism from the University of North Texas. Joyce then pursued a Master of Science degree in Geographical Information System from The University of Texas at Dallas, completing their studies in 2012. Additionally, they hold a Graduate Level GIS Certificate from The University of Texas at Dallas. In 2017, Joyce attended General Assembly's Data Science Immersive Program, specializing in Data Science.
