Amy E. Alving

Board Member at Fannie Mae

Dr. Alving served as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Science Applications International Corporation (“SAIC”), now known as Leidos Holdings, Inc., a scientific engineering and technology applications company, from 2007 to September 2013. Dr. Alving’s prior positions include director of the Special Projects Office at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, White House Fellow, and tenured faculty member at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Alving is currently a member of the Board of Directors of DXC Technology Company, where she serves as Chair of the Risk Committee and a member of the Nominating/Governance Committee. Dr. Alving is also a current member of the Board of Directors of Howmet Aerospace Inc. (formerly Arconic Inc.), where she serves as Chair of both the Governance and Nominating Committee and the Cybersecurity Advisory Subcommittee. Dr. Alving previously served on the Board of Directors of Howmet Aerospace from November 2016 to May 2017 and rejoined the Board of Directors of Howmet Aerospace in May 2018. From 2010 to August 2015, Dr. Alving was a member of the Board of Directors of Pall Corporation, where she served as a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominating/Governance Committee. In addition, she is a member of the Defense Science Board and a Trustee of Princeton University.

Dr. Alving has been a Fannie Mae director since October 2013. Dr. Alving serves as Chair of the Risk Policy and Capital Committee and Vice Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
