John Mark Walker

John Mark Walker is an accomplished professional in open source program management, currently serving as the Director of the Open Source Program Office at Fannie Mae since April 2021. Walker's expertise is further demonstrated through ongoing work as an Open Source Programs Expert with the Open Source Enterprise Network, which focuses on promoting open source product management best practices. Previous positions include Strategic Advisor at Glyptodon Inc., Director of Open Source Program Office and SDLC at Capital One, and various roles at Dell EMC and Red Hat, where Walker led community initiatives and open source strategies. Walker holds a B.A. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale University.
