Joseph Babcock

Joseph Babcock is a highly experienced professional in quantitative modeling, risk management, and data science. Currently serving as Senior Director at Fannie Mae since June 2020, Joseph has previously held significant roles, including Head of Data Science & Engineering at Moda Operandi, Inc., and Lead of Data Science & Engineering at Walmart. With a strong background in machine learning and data engineering, Joseph has authored three books on machine learning and data science and has contributed to various projects focused on streaming data pipelines, predictive modeling, and computer vision. Joseph's education includes a PhD in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Chemistry and Biology from Duke University, complemented by extensive research experience and multiple publications.
