Steve Holden, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Single Family Analytics at Fannie Mae since April 1999, overseeing generative AI initiatives and leading a team of over 250 professionals in analytics and data science. Previous roles at Fannie Mae include Vice President positions in Single Family Analytics and Credit Modeling and Analytics, where significant contributions were made to manage credit losses post-Great Recession and develop critical models for mortgage evaluation. Earlier experiences include director positions focused on credit policy and automated underwriting, as well as an adjunct professor role teaching Advanced Econometrics at Johns Hopkins University. Steve's academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and prior degrees from Queen's University and the University of Toronto.
