Amy Smith

Amy Smith serves as the Director of Human Resources for Oxford County since December 2007, overseeing HR functions for approximately 800 employees and five collective agreements. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Coordinator at Fanshawe College and Elgin County, as well as Divisional HR Associate at The Salvation Army. Amy also contributes to academia as a Professor at Fanshawe College and previously as an Instructor at Western University in the HR Post-grad Diploma program. Amy's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Guelph, a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education from Brock University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western University, and studies in Human Resources Management at Fanshawe College.
