Annette Markvoort

Annette Markvoort is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Manager of Innovation Village and Entrepreneurial Animator at Fanshawe College since August 2014, Annette Markvoort focuses on fostering an entrepreneurial culture and supporting students in developing innovative ideas and business plans. Prior to this role, Annette was a Principal Partner at Carrot Creative from January 2000 to December 2014, where innovative event management and promotions were prioritized. Annette Markvoort also operated Annette Markvoort Design, providing graphic design services to notable clients from 1997 to December 2014. Earlier career roles include Manager of Design Services at Imperial Oil and Manager of Design and Printing at the Sport Alliance of Ontario. Annette Markvoort holds an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University, specializing in Fine Art, History, and English.
