Mary Harrison

Mary Harrison is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and strategic integration in higher education. Since November 2014, Mary has held multiple prominent positions at Fanshawe College, including Acting Dean of Academic Quality & Strategic Integration and Director of the Centre for Academic Excellence, focusing on program reviews, new program development, operational consulting, and promoting research culture. Prior to this, Mary gained valuable experience at York University from September 2009 to May 2014 as a Teaching Assistant and Course Director, covering various educational topics. Mary holds a Ph.D. in Education and a Master's Degree in Women's Studies from York University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Studies/Gender & Women's Studies from the University of King's College.
