Jason Permenter

Jason Permenter has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jason has recently served as the Engagement Director at Fantasy since January 2021. In this role, they oversee the creative vision and strategy for digital projects, maintains relationships with clients, and provides leadership to the UX and Design team. Prior to that, Jason worked as a Creative Director at Cake & Arrow, where they conceptualized and produced designs for global businesses. Jason has also held positions such as Director of Interactive at Carbone Smolan Agency and Group Design Director at Big Spaceship. Additionally, Jason has experience as a Designer at Mule Design Studio and TownHog, and as a Professor at the College of Charleston. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in creative direction, project leadership, and client relationship management.

Jason Permenter completed their education in a chronological order. Jason began their academic journey at the College of Charleston, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from 1991 to 1995. Afterward, they pursued further education at Indiana State University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Geology from 1997 to 2000. Following this, Jason attended the University of Cambridge, focusing on Volcanology & Remote Sensing, and obtained a PhD from 2001 to 2007. Lastly, they attended the Academy of Art University, studying Graphic Design, and completed a Master of Fine Arts degree from 2007 to 2010.
