Emily Griffith currently serves as the Director of Development for School Engagement at the American Heart Association, a role begun in April 2025. Prior experience includes working as a Program Specialist for Community Sponsorship at HIAS from April 2022 to February 2025, where responsibilities involved leading strategic initiatives across refugee resettlement agencies and managing grants. As a Volunteer Coordinator at Jewish Family Services of Delaware from October 2020 to April 2022, Emily achieved a 98% volunteer retention rate and significantly increased the volunteer pool. Earlier roles included providing therapeutic support for families at A Center for Mental Wellness and case management as a Newborn Recovery Specialist at Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Delaware and has completed a Grant Writing Certification at Temple University. Currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Temple University, expected to complete in August 2026.
