Herbert Jordan

Herbert Jordan has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development, software engineering, and scientific roles. Herbert is currently working as a Research and Development Scientist at Fantom Foundation since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at PH3 GmbH from November 2018 onwards. From April 2019 to June 2022, Herbert worked at Google as a Senior Software Engineer. Earlier in their career, they were a Postdoc at Universität Innsbruck from July 2015 to March 2019 and a Research Scientist at Oracle from January 2015 to July 2015. Herbert also worked as a PhD Student and Wissenschaftlicher Projektmitarbeiter at Universität Innsbruck from March 2008 to December 2014 and from March 2008 to January 2010, respectively. Herbert started their career as a Software Developer at ARZ from July 2004 to September 2007.

Herbert Jordan's education history begins in 1999 when they attended HTL Innsbruck Anichstrasse. Herbert pursued a field of study in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen but did not obtain a specific degree. From 2005 to 2008, Jordan enrolled at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Informatik. Herbert continued their education at the same university from 2008 to 2010, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Informatik. Finally, from 2010 to 2014, Jordan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, also at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck.
