Ricardo de Araujo Pereira Andrade

Technology Director at FanTR

Ricardo de Araujo Pereira Andrade has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Ricardo started their career in 2005 at ENGEFAZ ENGENHARIA LTDA., where they conducted research on dynamic phenomena, developed studies on turbomachines and finite elements, and created a program for teaching vibrations in steam turbines. Ricardo then worked at TGM TURBINAS as a Mid-Level Project Engineer, focusing on calculations and diagnosing failures in steam turbine designs. At TECSIS TECNOLOGIA E SISTEMAS AVANÇADOS, they served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, coordinating design teams, planning project schedules, and developing new industrial fan products. Ricardo also worked as a Design Manager at TECSIS TECNOLOGIA E SISTEMAS AVANÇADOS, overseeing design and details of fans for cooling towers and mining applications. Subsequently, they joined GE Energy Motors as a Product Development Specialist and later joined Fantr as a Technology Director, where they managed product engineering, developed standards products, and led projects for new fan models.

Ricardo de Araujo Pereira Andrade completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aircraft from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a specialization in Structural Numerical Analysis, Finite Element Method - ANSYS, with a focus on Finite Element Simulation from 2015 to 2016 at Engineering Simulation and Scientific Software.
