Che Dashiell is currently gaining experience in the Large Animal Critical Care Team at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, providing care for emergency patients and assisting with inventory management and feeding of critically ill foals. With a strong background in aquatic safety and instruction, Che has worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA and previously held lifeguard responsibilities at Louisiana State University. Che also served as a kennel assistant at Westfield Animal Hospital and shadowed veterinarians to gain practical insights into veterinary care. Che is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences at Louisiana State University, expecting to graduate in 2024.
