Far Brook School
Rofiat F. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at The Pingry School and Far Brook School since September 2022. Previously, Rofiat worked as a Classroom Teacher at The Pingry School from August 2020 to June 2022 and held the position of Lead Instructor at Upward Bound from September 2018 to August 2020. Additional experience includes roles such as Chief Judge and Elections Commissioner at Temple Student Government, as well as serving as a Student Mentor with DonCARES of Philadelphia. Rofiat has also gained valuable experience through internships, including as a Mayor's Intern with the Office of Immigrant Affairs and as a Teaching Assistant at Mighty Writers. Rofiat is pursuing a Master of Arts degree at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, after earning Bachelor's degrees in African-American/Black Studies and Political Science from Temple University.

Our purpose is to create a supportive and caring community that cherishes love of learning, creativity, and individuality, and that provides teachers and students with both support and freedom to take risks in order to reach their full potential.
