Ed Cannon

Ed Cannon is the current President & CEO at Far East Broadcasting Company. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Moody Bible Institute from September 2001 to March 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the financial performance of the institute, in addition to leadership of Moody Radio, Moody Publishers, and institute operations.

Before joining Moody Bible Institute, Ed Cannon worked at BP as their Operations Network Leader from February 1999 to September 2001. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing the performance of the global refining network. Performance metrics included profitabilty, inovation, and utilization.

Ed Cannon started their career at Amoco Oil Company in October 1997 as their Operations Manager at the Texas City Refinery in Texas City, Texas.

Ed Cannon received a Master of Science in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Ed also holds a certificate in International Business/Finance from Cambridge/Harvard.
