Amy M. Burns

Elementary Music Educator/performing Arts Department Manager at Far Hills Country Day School

Amy M. Burns is an experienced music educator and performing arts department manager at Far Hills Country Day School, where Amy has taught general music to PreK-grade 4 for over 20 years. In addition to current roles as an elementary music consultant at MusicFirst and community coordinator for Midnight Music, Amy serves on the board of the New Jersey Music Educators Association as the PreK-8 General Music Chair. Formerly, Amy taught at Central Connecticut State University's Summer Music Institute, authored for Pearson's Realize™ Interactive Music, and held leadership positions in TI:ME, SoundTree, and Sibelius Software. Amy M. Burns holds a Master's degree in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College.
