Kate Chomko

Kate Chomko is a seasoned wine professional with extensive experience in wine education, sales, and management. Currently a Wine Educator at Far Niente Family of Wineries & Vineyards since August 2022, Kate has previously held roles as a Field Sales Consultant at Sunrun and as a Wine & Food Sales Professional as a freelancer. As the owner of DOWNTOWN & VINE LLC, a café and wine bar in Sacramento, Kate catered to both legislative and local communities from 2012 to 2020. Additional experience includes serving as Sales Director at Larkmead Vineyards, Fine Wine Specialist and District Manager at Henry Wine Group, and Member Liaison & Special Events Manager at The Napa Valley Reserve. Kate's educational background includes studies at Loyola University Chicago, Le Cordon Bleu in London, and the Culinary Institute of America, complemented by an associate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Triton College.
