Jed Sass has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2015, Jed worked as a Counselor at Vermont Soccer School and later as a Business Development Intern at Grassroot Soccer in 2015. In 2016, Jed worked as a Map Technician at Pitney Bowes.

In 2017, Jed had multiple roles, including being a Student Research Assistant at Middlebury College, where they conducted a research project on student experiences with engaging across difference. Jed also participated in Middlebury College's MiddCORE program, a leadership and innovation program, where they collaborated with professionals and worked on consulting challenges for partnering companies.

In 2018, Jed served as the Co-Director of Grassroots Programs, Head Trainer, and Academy Administrator at Olé Football Academy. In 2019, Jed worked as a 4th Grade ICT Co-Teacher and later as a 3rd Grade ICT Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools.

In 2020, Jed held the role of Connections Coordinator at Evernorth and also worked as a Club Soccer Coach at Far Post Soccer Club. Currently, Jed is the Church Street Marketplace Coordinator at the City of Burlington, Vermont, a position they started in 2021.

Jed Sass completed their high school education at Hartford High School from 2010 to 2014. Jed then pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Middlebury College from 2014 to 2018. Jed majored in Geography and minored in Spanish during their time at Middlebury College. Additionally, Jed obtained several certifications in various urban planning-related courses from Planetizen Courses. These certifications include "Beyond Complete Streets for Walking and Biking", "Tactical Urbanism: An Introduction", "Defining Neighborhoods", and "Incremental Code Reform: Enabling Better Places". These certifications were obtained in 2020.
