Megan McGuinness, MA, RPA, is a seasoned archaeologist currently serving as a Senior Archaeologist and Project Archaeologist at Anderson Perry & Associates since September 2022, while also working as a Field Technician for Far Western Anthropological Research Group, Inc. since April 2022. Megan's experience includes roles as a Research Assistant for the Great Basin Paleoindian Research Unit at the University of Nevada, Reno from August 2020 to May 2022, and as a Field School Supervisor at the University of Oregon in summer 2021, where instruction focused on various archaeological survey and excavation techniques. Previous positions include Field Technician at Anderson Perry & Associates and Lithic Data Analyst at Baker Heritage Museum. Additionally, from 2010 to 2020, Megan operated as a self-employed artist, specializing in abstract realism paintings. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Eastern Oregon University.
