Prashant Labhane

Prashant Labhane is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Google, overseeing teams focused on scaling Spanner for diverse workloads and managing Site Reliability Engineering for SDN networking within Google datacenters. With an extensive background in investment, Prashant has served as a seed investor in multiple companies, including Upshift, Faraday Bicycles, PitchTop, Upverter, and Enuma, Inc., as well as participating as an angel investor in promising technological ventures since 2013. Prior roles include Technical Lead for Site Reliability Engineering at YouTube, where Prashant established sub-teams for managing critical systems, and Product Manager positions at Google and Zagat, where significant improvements in API launches and UI design were achieved. Prashant holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
