Gabriel Franco

Head of Security Services at Faraday

Gabriel Franco has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information security. Gabriel began their career in 2012 at Root-Secure S.R.L as a Semi Senior Information Security Consultant. In this role, they focused on Pentesting, Cybercrime, Social Engineering, and worked on hardening *NIX and Windows platforms. Gabriel also developed Python during this time.

In 2016, Gabriel joined Claro Argentina as an Application Security Specialist. Here, they evaluated new applications and modifications, coached developers and architects on secure coding practices, and had advanced knowledge of applications and database security.

Since 2017, Gabriel has been working at Faraday, where they have held various positions. Gabriel started as a Security Researcher and then moved on to become the Red Team Lead. Currently, they serve as the Head of Security Services.

Gabriel Franco attended the Universidad Nacional Arturo Jauretche, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería en Informática. Gabriel obtained additional certifications in the field of security, becoming a Certified Offensive and Defensive Security Expert in December 2016. Gabriel also received a certification in the Key English Test from the Cambridge University Press. Gabriel achieved the Sixth Grade qualification through the Cambridge University Press as well.
