Michael Dechert

Michael Dechert is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and private equity. Currently serving as Managing Director at Farallon Capital Management since September 2014, Michael previously held positions as a Private Equity Associate at Hellman & Friedman from July 2012 to July 2014, and as an Investment Banking Analyst in the M&A Group at Morgan Stanley from June 2010 to July 2012. Early career experiences at Morgan Stanley included roles as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst and participation in the Investment Banking Sophomore Rotational Program. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University and also pursued studies at UCL in 2008.
