Baran Çelikten

BMS Software Development Lead Engineer / Scrum Master at Farasis Energy, Inc.

Baran Çelikten has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Baran is currently working at Farasis Energy as the BMS Software Development Lead Engineer and Scrum Master. Prior to this, they worked at Ford Otosan where they held various roles. Baran started as a CFD Simulation Engineer in September 2014 and later transitioned into the role of Senior CFD Simulation Engineer in August 2018. From January 2020 to December 2021, they served as a Senior Battery Management Systems Engineer. Lastly, they took on the role of Battery Management System and Electronics Chapter Leader from January 2022 to August 2022.

Baran Çelikten completed their high school education and obtained their High School Diploma from Ba in 2009. Baran then attended Istanbul Technical University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Baran further pursued their education at Istanbul Technical University from 2014 to 2016, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Baran received a 6 Sigma Green Belt in August 2016. Baran also completed the Algorithms for Battery Management Systems Specialization from the University of Colorado Boulder in March 2020, followed by the Computational Thinking with Beginning C Programming Specialization from the same institution in February 2021. Baran became a certified Scrum Team Member in August 2021 and gained further expertise by completing the Project Management: The Basics for Success course offered by the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in August 2022. Finally, in November 2022, they obtained the Professional for Requirements Engineering – Foundation Level certification from the HOOD Group.
