Bin Ma began their work experience as a Software Project Manager at Beijing Dongfangyijie Co.L.TD in August 2003. In April 2004, they became an Associate Professor at a university in north-west China, where they worked until December 2020. In January 2021, they joined The Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Connecticut as a Postdoctoral Researcher until January 2022. From April 2022 to September 2022, they worked as a Software Developer - Heat Transfer Developer at Altair Engineering, where they wrote heat transfer and structure coupled FEM code and conducted research on radiation heat transfer. Currently, Bin Ma is employed as a Senior Thermal Simulation Engineer at Farasis Energy starting from May 2023.
Bin Ma completed a Bachelor's degree in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, from 1996 to 2000. Later, from 2000 to 2003, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Thermophysics at the same university. Their educational journey continued as they obtained a Doctor of Engineering Thermophysics degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, during the period of 2013 to 2017. Additionally, Bin Ma holds several certifications, including a Higher education qualification certificate from the Department of Education of Gansu Province, a Legal profession qualification from the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, and a safety evaluation engineer certification from the Administration of Work Safety of China.
