Jonathan Lim has a diverse work experience in software engineering and infrastructure roles. Jonathan started their career at SGI in 1997 as a Product Support Engineer and worked there for eight years. During this time, they also held positions as a Graphics Software Engineer, Linux Software Engineer, and a Graphics Software Engineer again. In 2009, Jonathan transitioned to a role as a Software Engineer at SGI, where they primarily focused on the development of web-based applications for machine learning, visualization, and storage appliance monitoring. After SGI's acquisition by ESI Group, Jonathan continued their work as a Software Engineer and later took on the responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer. In this role, they implemented processes and tools for automation and facilitated the introduction of Continuous Integration into the build process. Jonathan's latest position is as a Senior Developer at Farasis Energy, where they currently work.
Jonathan Lim has a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Jonathan also has a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the same institution.
