Yancheng Zhang

Yancheng Zhang is a Principal Scientist at Farasis Energy, specializing in the development of lithium metal pouch cells with high energy density and long cycle life. In the past, they worked as a Lead Battery Development Engineer at II-VI Incorporated, focusing on lithium battery research and development. Prior to that, they held the role of Research Associate and Battery Manufacturing Facility Manager at Penn State University, where they led battery design, fabrication, and testing for electric vehicles. Yancheng Zhang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials from Penn State University.
