Biswajit Das, PhD

Biswajit Das, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Biswajit is currently working as a Scientist at Farcast Biosciences since February 2022. Prior to this, from September 2020 to February 2022, they were a Lab Scientist at ACQUITY LABS PRIVATE LIMITED. In this role, they led the SARS-CoV2 diagnostic team and was responsible for the development and validation of protocols and kits for SARS-CoV2 diagnosis. Biswajit also developed SOPs for NABL accreditation and ensured the smooth running of the lab.

Before joining ACQUITY LABS PRIVATE LIMITED, from March 2015 to February 2021, Biswajit was a Doctoral Student at Assam University. Their research focused on the potential anti-cancer properties of arsenic nanoparticles and involved synthesizing and characterizing these nanoparticles. Biswajit also studied their cytotoxicity and immunomodulatory properties in cancer cell lines. Additionally, from March 2017 to April 2018, they worked as a Guest Lecturer at Assam University.

Biswajit's work experience also includes a brief stint as a TGT-Science at Saint Capitanio School from April 2015 to July 2015. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in scientific research, laboratory management, and teaching.

Biswajit Das, PhD, began their education at Assam (Central) University in 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology. Biswajit completed this degree in 2011. Continuing their studies at the same institution, they then obtained a Master of Science in Biotechnology from 2011 to 2013. Following this, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Education degree with a focus on Education. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2020, Biswajit Das worked as a PhD Scholar at Assam (Central) University, specializing in the field of Onco-immunology and Nanomedicine.
