Robert Gillett has held a variety of roles since 2008. Robert began their career as a Surgical Representative Intern at Johnson & Johnson, followed by an Industry Education Intern at American Honda Motor Company, Inc. In 2010, they became a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Singleton Entertainment Corp. In 2013, they pursued their passion of playing professional football as a Professional Football Player for the Bolzano Giants. In 2014, they founded and became CEO of weCliq. In 2015, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at Brown University. In 2016, they became Cofounder, CTO, and CEO of CannaCtrl, where they designed, developed, and continuously iterated on iOS and MacOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI, created backend logic for pre and post API calls to MongoDB using Node.js, implemented bluetooth integrations with external hardware, built live location tracking and route optimization for delivery drivers, patented an ID scanning camera tool, and ensured state compliance by implementing California's Track-and-Trace API. In 2022, they became the Lead iOS Engineer at DASH Systems, Inc.

Robert Gillett has a varied educational background. In 2019, they completed a Disruptive Strategy course from Harvard Business School Online in the field of Entrepreneurship. From 2007 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Brown University in Engineering & Economics. Prior to that, they attended Palisades Charter High from 2003 to 2007, with a focus on Engineering.
