Michelle Kao

Michelle Kao is a business litigation associate at Farella Braun + Martel.

Michelle has drafted briefs and pleadings at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal court, as well as for arbitrations, mediations, and the ITC. She has handled discovery requests and responses, led document review, interviewed experts, and interviewed and prepared fact witnesses for hearing testimony. She has advised clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues including trade secrets, patents, and trademarks, as well as on general breach of contract and California UCL claims.

Michelle served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Cristina A. Snyder of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
