Julia Sattel

Julia Sattel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aviation and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Clear Sky Fund since April 2024, Julia focuses on sustainable investments in aviation. Julia is also an Advisory Board Member at Drone Express and serves on the board of Fareplace, which revolutionizes revenue generation in the airline industry through an open marketplace platform. As a Senior Advisor at Ardian and various advisory roles including at Emburse, ZYTLYN Technologies, and Bain & Company, Julia leverages expertise in travel technology. Previously, Julia held multiple leadership positions at Amadeus for over 25 years, culminating in the role of President, overseeing the Airlines Customer Unit. Julia's earlier career includes a position as Head of International Distribution at AEG Mobile Communications GmbH. Julia holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Cologne and attended the MIT Sloan School of Management.
