Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in quality engineering and software development. Amit started their career in 2004 as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (NBAGR), working in the field of computer science. In 2007, they joined Birlasoft as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a System Analyst, where they worked until 2012. In 2013, Amit joined Fareportal as a QA Lead and subsequently held roles as an Associate QA Manager, QA Manager, Senior QA Manager, and currently serves as the Associate Director of Quality Engineering. Their most recent role at Fareportal began in April 2021 and is ongoing.

Amit Kumar completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University between 2000 and 2003, specializing in Computer and Information Sciences. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including Azure DevOps Fundamentals, Certified SAFe 4 Scrum Master, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ISTQB-Certified Tester, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and O Level Certificate from DOEACC - Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Classes. Amit also holds certifications in Birlasoft Insurance Fundamentals, Integrated Leadership Development Program, Leadership Skills, and League of Leaders.
