Ethan Weitzman

Ethan Weitzman's work experience includes serving as a Director of Corporate Legal at Fareportal since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lidl US as a Data Protection Officer and Corporate Counsel from 2020 to 2023, where they advised executive management on legal and regulatory matters and played a key role in ensuring data protection compliance. From 2012 to 2020, Ethan worked at Washington/Baltimore HIDTA, first as a Chief Regulatory Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel, overseeing data privacy and regulatory compliance, and later as a Staff Attorney. Ethan began their career as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Andre Weitzman and Associates from 2008 to 2012.

Ethan Weitzman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Art History from Tufts University in 2007. Ethan then attended the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law from 2008 to 2012, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Environmental Law. Prior to their university education, Ethan Weitzman attended Gilman High School from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they hold certifications including Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and The Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, as well as admissions to the District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland State Bar.
