Nipun Joshi

Senior Director Of Product Management, Digital And Loyalty at Fareportal

Nipun Joshi has a strong background in software engineering and product management. Nipun started their career as a Graduate Assistant at the Institute for Public Health, University of New Mexico, where they worked from August 2007 to February 2009. Nipun then joined Aurumis, Inc as a Software Developer Intern from July 2009 to October 2009. Nipun then worked as a Software Engineer at EV Components LLC from September 2009 to February 2010, where they developed custom modules for an ASP.NET MVC based ecommerce application. Nipun also worked as a Software Developer at Papugai, Inc from February 2010 to June 2010, where they developed modules for an ecommerce web application and resolved technical issues.

In 2010, Nipun joined UL Workplace Health and Safety as a Software Engineer, where they worked until June 2014. During this time, they designed and developed solutions for safety training and compliance programs using Microsoft .NET technologies. From 2014 to 2014, they also worked as a Resident Entrepreneur at Krash.

In January 2016, Nipun joined Fareportal as a Software Engineering Manager and Product Manager, leading technical teams and managing product development. Nipun then progressed to the role of Director of Product Management, Digital and Loyalty in October 2018, and later became Senior Director of Product Management in January 2022. Nipun has experience in distributed messaging systems, C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, SQL Server, and design patterns.

Nipun Joshi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cornell University, a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology and Management from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Tackling the Challenges of Big Data" from MIT Professional Education in 2015, and "Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning" from Coursera in 2013.
