Rahul Kumar (CA, ASA)

Rahul Kumar, a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of finance and strategy.

Starting in 2007, Rahul worked as an Article Assistant at S.S. Kothari Mehta & Co., where they gained experience in statutory, tax, and internal audits for both large listed enterprises and small to medium-sized enterprises. During their last year in this role, they had the opportunity to independently manage a couple of clients for various audits.

In 2010, Rahul joined Deloitte Haskins & Sells as an Assistant Manager in Audit & Enterprise Risk Services (AERS). Rahul later got promoted to Deputy Manager and was responsible for leading field audits and other assignments independently, overseeing a team of 4-5 members. Rahul'swork at Deloitte involved conducting statutory and tax audits for Fortune 500 companies across sectors such as real estate consultancy, FMCG, publishing houses, and manufacturing.

In 2014, Rahul moved to Metafrique Group as a Manager - Accounts. Rahul quickly rose to the position of VP Accounts & Finance, overseeing accounts, finance, taxation, MIS costing, audit, secretarial, and investor relations for the Group's operations. Reporting directly to the CEO/MD of the Group, they managed key accounts and handled MIS-related activities.

Rahul's most recent position, starting in 2018, is at FarEye, where they initially served as a Finance Controller. Rahul was responsible for maintaining and overseeing financial operations. Rahul then advanced to the role of AVP Finance and Legal before being promoted to VP Finance & Legal. Rahul'sresponsibilities included working closely with the CEO and BU leaders on business finance and strategy, particularly in the areas of sales operations. Rahul also led a team of 5+ members.
