João Sá

João Sá is a Senior Data Scientist at FARFETCH since September 2018, where responsibilities include developing and deploying machine learning models for personalized recommender systems. Additionally, João serves as an Assistant Lecturer for the "Big Data" course in the Post Graduation of Data Science and Business Intelligence at ISAG – Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão since February 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Production Engineer at Nestlé, leading autonomous working groups on a breakfast cereals packaging line, as well as an Engineering Trainee focused on extrusion and TPM implementation. Early career experience includes a production internship at Super Bock Group, where a project was developed to implement Lean methodologies. João holds a Postgraduate degree in Business Intelligence & Analytics from Porto Business School and a Master of Engineering in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Universidade do Minho.
