Gaynor Roberts has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Gaynor started their career in 1997 as the Owner of Gaynor Roberts Editorial Services, specializing in educational publishing. Gaynor worked with various clients, including The Open University and the World Health Organization, until 2011.
Afterward, Gaynor joined Pearson plc as a Project Editor for a year before moving on to City & Guilds, where they became the Head of Content. In this role, they were responsible for managing and developing various print and digital projects, as well as leading the content marketplace product. Gaynor also played a key role in developing new product strategies and workflows for the team.
In 2014, Gaynor became the Commissioning Manager at AXELOS Global Best Practice, contributing to the successful acquisition of commercially-driven content. Gaynor then joined the International Institute for Strategic Studies in 2016 as the Head of Publications, overseeing the organization's publishing initiatives for three years.
In 2020, Gaynor joined Springer Nature Group as the Head of CPD, where they served until 2023. Gaynor'sresponsibilities included managing the organization's continuing professional development programs.
Currently, Gaynor is the Director of Publishing at Farillio, a position they have held since 2023.
Gaynor Roberts has a Bachelor of Arts degree in French & History from the University of Surrey. Gaynor attended Ipswich High School for Girls (GPDST) as well. In addition to their formal education, Gaynor has also obtained certifications including a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from The Coaching Academy, SEO Content and Copywriting from Emarketeers, and PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
