Savanna Poole

Savanna Poole is an account manager at Farinella and a former faculty member at Vermont Academy, where they taught math and digital arts. Savanna also has experience coaching girls' varsity hockey and boys' JV soccer.

Savanna Poole grew up in Massachusetts and started their college career at Northeastern University, where they studied sports leadership. After completing their internship at Catamount Outdoor Family Center, they transferred to Vermont Academy to pursue a career in teaching and coaching.

During their time at Vermont Academy, Savanna Poole developed differentiated and dynamic lesson plans for 10-15 student classes, created positive learning environments that foster academic, social, and emotional growth, and met students where they were to ensure they understand the material. Savanna also focused on improving student confidence, arithmetic, and problem-solving skills to make math fun and approachable for all students. In addition to their teaching duties, Savanna Poole also served as the assistant coach for the girls' varsity hockey team and the boys' JV soccer team.

Under their leadership, the girls' varsity hockey team won its first-ever NEPSAC and Lakes Region Championships in 2018. The team's success led to an increase in followers on the team's social media account from 200 to over 1,100. Savanna Poole also helped lead the girls' varsity soccer team to the 2017 NEPSAC Championship.

After several years of teaching and coaching at Vermont Academy,

Savanna Poole received their Master's Degree in Sports Leadership with Collegiate Sports Administration Concentration from Northeastern University. Savanna also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a Double Minor in Communication and Economics from Saint Anselm College. Savanna is a graduate of Kents Hill School.
