Cathy S.

Cathy S. has extensive work experience in the medical field. Cathy is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Farm Bureau Health Plans since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Chief Medical Officer at Carelon Post Acute Care from November 2016 to June 2023. From October 2016 to December 2021, they served as the Senior Medical Director at myNEXUS. Cathy also has experience as the Medical Director Rehabilitation at St. Thomas Health Services from July 2010 to February 2017. Furthermore, they worked at HCA as the Medical Director - Inpatient Rehabilitation at Centennial Hospital, where they also served on the Board of Directors for 6 years from 2001 to 2007.

Cathy S. attended Louisiana State University from 1983 to 1988, but did not complete a degree. Cathy then attended Baylor College of Medicine from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Finally, Cathy pursued further education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson from 2007 to 2009, completing an Integrative Medicine Fellowship with a specialization in Integrative Medicine.
