Amie Pala has extensive experience in the finance and banking industry, particularly with Farm Credit Bank of Texas. Amie started their career at the bank in 2000 as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, overseeing various functions such as liquidity management, cash forecasting, and financial planning. In this role, they also implemented strategies to increase capital and stabilize earnings during economic downturns. In 2010, Amie was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and became a member of the Executive Committee. As CFO, they led strategic initiatives to enhance profitability, manage treasury risk, and promote transparent financial disclosure. Amie managed a $5 billion liquidity investment portfolio and a $23 billion debt portfolio. Recently, in 2021, Amie was appointed as the CEO of Farm Credit Bank of Texas.
Amie Pala has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Banking, Corporate Finance, and Investments from The University of Texas at Austin. Amie also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Dallas. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Cert-CM - International Cash Manager from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
