Darren Baccus

Darren Baccus is an experienced executive currently serving as EVP of Agri-food, Alliances, and FCC Capital at FCC / FAC since April 2024. As a Founding Partner and Advisor at Biome Capital Partners since September 2021, Darren focuses on investing in farmland and developing regional regenerative ecosystems in partnership with local growers. Previous roles include Executive Vice President of Capital and Investment Management at ONE Properties, Founder of Henka Advisory Inc., and Senior Vice President with responsibilities at PSP Investments, including Global Head of Real Estate and Natural Resources and Chief Legal Officer. Additionally, Darren served as Chief Client Relations and Legal Officer at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) and was a Partner at Torys LLP. Educational background includes a law degree from the University of Manitoba and foundational studies in calculus at The University of Winnipeg.
