Christopher Bessette

Christopher Bessette has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies in the finance and agricultural industries. Christopher began their career as a Loan Officer at Yankee Farm Credit in 1998 and then moved on to work as an Assistant Vice President in Agricultural Lending at Chittenden Bank in 2004. Bessette later joined Pennsylvania Farm Bureau- MSC Business Services as an Account Supervisor from 2004 to 2009. In 2009, they returned to Yankee Farm Credit, where they held various roles including Senior Loan Officer, Assistant Vice President, Vice President, and Senior Vice President. During this time, they were responsible for managing the Commercial Lending Division, serving as the Northern Region Manager, and overseeing lending operations. In 2022, Bessette joined Farm Credit East, ACA as the Senior Vice President of Risk and Analytics. In 2023, they transitioned into the role of Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Officer in the same company.

Christopher Bessette completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics & French (Double Major) from St. Lawrence University between 1994 and 1998.
