Joshua D. Garretson

Joshua D. Garretson, MAI, ARA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS has a diverse work experience. Joshua currently serves on the National Board of Directors at the Appraisal Institute. Prior to this, they worked at Farm Credit East, ACA, where they held the position of Senior Appraiser / Vice President. In this role, they managed branch appraisal functions, completed appraisals for various purposes, conducted appraisal reviews, and provided office appraisal training. Joshua also served as the President of the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked at First Pioneer Farm Credit, ACA as an Appraiser, overseeing appraisal functions and conducting appraisal reviews and training. Joshua started their career at Friendly Ice Cream Corporation as a Guest Service Supervisor.

Joshua D. Garretson, MAI, ARA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Penn State University in the years 2000 to 2004. Joshua has obtained additional certifications including MAI from the Appraisal Institute in 2015, ARA from the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers in 2016, AI-GRS from the Appraisal Institute in 2018, AI-RRS from the Appraisal Institute in 2018, and State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser from NJ in 2013.
