Rod Stoll has over 30 years of professional experience in agricultural finance and public relations, currently serving as Vice President of Marketplace Engagement at Farm Credit Illinois since November 2014. Previously, Rod held the position of Vice President of Public Relations at Farm Credit Illinois from August 2007 to October 2014. Prior roles include Director of the Illinois 4-H Foundation and Director of Development for the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 1996 to August 2007. Rod began a career in the agricultural sector as an Area Market Manager for Dairy Business at Monsanto from July 1989 to August 1996. Rod earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (with Honors) in Dairy Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Farm Credit Illinois is a farmer owned and directed agricultural lending cooperative serving 10,000 farm families, agribusinesses, and rural landowners in the southern 60 counties of Illinois with competitive and flexible financing and crop insurance expertise. The Association manages a $5 billion loan portfolio, sells 1.2 million acres of crop insurance coverage, and employs 240 staff based in the Mahomet central office and 14 regional office locations. The Association delivered additional cooperative value by returning $20 million of cash patronage to member-owners in 2019.
