Steve Slayton

Steve Slayton is a Special Assets Loan Officer at Farm Credit of the Virginias since October 2019. Prior to this, Steve held the title of Solutions Manager at DuPont Community Credit Union from May 2014 to October 2019. With experience as a Loan Servicing Supervisor at IAA Credit Union and a Mortgage Loan Officer at Citizens Savings Bank, Steve is well-versed in managing past due mortgages, auto loans, signature loans, and VISA credit cards. Their responsibilities include making key decisions on legal actions, foreclosures, and repossession of collateral, as well as coordinating the inspection, maintenance, and sale of repossessed assets. Steve obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Economics from Illinois State University.
