Irene Smith is a seasoned fashion design professional with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Fashion Design Director at Paolita since July 2022, Irene leads a design team to align the brand's direction with market demands while developing innovative strategies. Previously, Irene worked as a couturier at JW Anderson from May 2019 to May 2022, specializing in bespoke and couture garments and collaborating closely with clients. Irene's earlier roles include Fashion Designer at Jigsaw from January 2015 to March 2019, where design and development of apparel and accessories took precedence, and an Apparel Internship Assistant at Nova of London from January 2009 to January 2014, aiding the design team and mentoring interns. Irene holds a Master’s degree in fashion design from the Royal College of Art, earned between 2004 and 2008.
