Milan Young

Milan Young is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and agriculture. As the Founder of farm-hand AI since April 2020, Milan leads an agricultural robotics company focused on automating farming processes and actively recruits engineers with expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and robotics. Concurrently, Milan operates Oregon Saffron with a focus on engaging with farm life and instilling values in the community. Prior to these roles, Milan served as Engineering Manager at Bridgewater Associates, enhancing data systems and AI, and contributed to cyber security efforts. Additionally, Milan was the Owner/Operator of Oregon Organics, a family farm, and held multiple positions at Nuance, culminating as Principal Architect, where innovations included a patented SIP router and advancements in natural language processing. Milan holds a degree in Computer Science, Math, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and furthered education with studies in Statistics and Data Science at MITx.
