Gizaw Shibru

Gizaw Shibru is an experienced professional with a background in civil engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Operations for Farm Radio International in Africa, Gizaw is responsible for opening new country operations, managing human resources, financial systems, and project development. Prior to this role, Gizaw worked as the Regional Director for Canadian Physicians for Aid & Relief, where Gizaw established new country programs and operations in eastern and southern Africa. With a strong background in water and sanitation programs from their time at the Ethiopian Water Supply Sewerage Authority, Gizaw brings a wealth of experience to their current role. Gizaw holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Roorkee, India.
